Hi, I was just diagnosed as having multiple clots in both lungs today. Been discharged from hospital with very little info except Xarelto’s wee pamphlet. All at a loss as to how I developed these!! will start on Xarelto 15 mg twice a day from tomorrow. Just a bit in shock tbh, I’m a nurse n didn’t recognise the symptoms I was having as PE. I’m only 49, moderately fit n healthy, except I have Graves’ disease- does anyone else have this n PE too? Any advice folk, is happily accepted. thank you for letting me unburden here,
good night xx

I was Covid positive on the 18/5/20 2 weeks on and i was becoming more breathless,i work in a Hospital Pharmacy,so always on the go and although i'm 61 i'm pretty healthy.I called 111 then i was at A&E having bloods,Blood pressure, checking Oxygen levels.I mentioned the back of my calf was really sore,i thought i'd pulled a muscle by not doing too much ? Apparently they are seeing more Covid patients that are linked with aches and pains.I ended up staying in for 2 days, had more tests, had a CT Scan which showed i have a few peripheral clots on the small branches of the lungs. So i have been given a 3 month course of Apixaban. Thought i was getting better..Will get there, just going to take a bit longer.Get Well Soon Everyone,Stay Safe.

Newly diagnosed. Probably had this for a while. Primary prescribed Cymbalta. I don’t want to take another drug that will zone me out and be hard to quit. I’m on Elequis. I live alone with my dog and am scared.
